Walking: from Ark property walks to beach walks, town walks & bush walks. There are numerous bush walks on & within close proximity of the Ark property. Walk along the world renowned Bibbulmun Track. "The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the south coast, winding through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia." Enjoy bike riding along The Munda Biddi Trail. “A world-class, nature-based, off-road cycling experience” or one of the many other bike trails.
If Birdwatching is your thing - discover Denmark's amazing array of native bird life with over 160 recorded species.
Wildflowers - all year round. "There's always something blooming in the forests. In the winter months and into summer the colours change as each flower takes it's turn opening to the sun."
Denmark has always been a popular surfing destination at our local Ocean Beach or one of the many other beaches including Lights Beach, Parry's Beach and Hillier's Beach.
Beaches galore: other beaches include: Waterfall Beach, Mazzoletti Beach, Anvil Beach, Peaceful Bay, Boat Harbour (4WD only), Elephant Rocks & Cove.
Swimming at our infamous natural swimming hole, Green's Pool has also been a popular destination for many, many years.
Wind surfing, kite surfing, kayaking & canoeing are also sports that can be experienced close by at one of the mentioned beaches or the Wilson Inlet (a stones throw from the Ark).
