Rates, Conditions & Things to Know

RATES: (per night, 2 people)
Dependant on season - please refer to "Check Availability" button for rates.

ADULTS ONLY:
Please note that we are an adults only retreat & do not have the facility to provide an extra or split bed.
Due to deep baths, steep stairs and uneven surrounds, the Ark of Denmark is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

MINIMUM STAY:
- 3 night minimum generally throughout the year;
- 5 night minimum over Easter break - from Thursday to Tuesday (earlier &/or later);
- 5 night minimum over Christmas break - from 22nd to 27th December (earlier &/or later).

*** To allow our hard working housekeeping staff, time off with their own families, we have the following BOOKING RESTRICTIONS:
Check-ins & check-outs will not be permitted on Good Friday, Easter Monday, 23rd, 24th, 25th or 26th December ***

Check in: From 3.00pm

Check out: no later than 10.00am - it helps our cleaners who have other commitments to schedule into their day.

LINEN: Supplied (sheets, towels tea towels, bath mats, hand towel).

OTHER FEES:
- $60 Cleaning fee per stay (which is only a portion of the actual cost of cleaning). Property must be left clean & tidy on departure.
- Cleaning surcharge of $60 for any excess cleaning.
- Guests are liable to pay for any replacements & or damage to property and its contents.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Warm clothing, even in summer. Ugg boots or slippers are very useful.
- Firewood - the national wood shortage is hitting us locals hard. Don't worry, we will supply a one- two nights worth during winter. Plus you will have reverse cycle air-conditioning.Please Note: Firewood will not be supplied in the warmer months from November to March inclusive.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• One night deposit is requested to confirm the booking within 24 hours. 
• The remaining balance will be charged automatically 30 days prior to arrival. 
• There will be 2% service charge on Visa and Master card, and 3% on Amex or International cards. 
• Please email us if you wish to use EFT instead of your card being charged.
• GST will be added to tariffs & all above fees.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• More than 30 days prior to arrival: 
$55 cancellation fee
• Less than 30 days but greater than 7 days prior to arrival: One nights tariff.
• 7 days or less prior to arrival: No refund.

AMENDMENTS:

• 1. No refunds will be provided for a reduction in the number of guests or nights.
• 2. A change of dates may be permitted subject to owner approval. Changes to dates that occur within 7 days of arrival will be treated as a cancelled booking. 
• 3. If the applicable nightly tariff for the amended dates is higher than the original booking  the higher rate will apply. 

PET TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Confirmed bookings are an automatic acceptance of the following Pet Terms and Conditions:

* DOGS ARE TO BE ADVISED & APPROVED BY ARK OF DENMARK OWNERS.
* Dogs ONLY are allowed & are to be of a quiet nature and it is the owners responsibility to keep noise to a minimum at all times. Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable.
* Strictly No Puppies - dogs must be at least 2 years old & fully house trained.
* Maximum of two dogs only.
* You agree to be responsible for your dog/s during the period of your stay.
* You will be responsible for the management of your pets waste. Where possible it is to be removed and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
* Dogs with fleas are not welcome. Please ensure your dogs are treated if they are prone to fleas.
* Dogs are not permitted to sit or sleep on any furniture or beds during your stay.
* Please bring your clean dog sheets pets bedding, bowls etc.
* DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE INSIDE AT ANY TIME.
* Dogs are to be on a leash at all times when taken outside the accommodation. There are no fences,
* An added pet fee of $50 for up to two dogs, per stay applies. 
* You will be required to pay for any incidental damage or excessive cleaning costs.
